DEAR HAITI, LOVE ALAINE earned a STARRED REVIEW from Booklist, a publication by the American Library Association that critically reviews books for librarians, teachers, & booksellers.

Growing up at the library meant MANY book recommendations from our librarians so we’re extremely honored! The full review will be available in the July 1, 2019 issue of Booklist, but here’s an excerpt of the review below.

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine Is An ABA Summer/Fall 2019 Indies Introduce Pick!

We are so honored that DEAR HAITI, LOVE ALAINE was selected as a Summer/Fall 2019 Indies Introduce Pick by the American Booksellers Association. Ten adult and ten children’s debut books were chosen by a panel and will be highlighted by indie booksellers across the country.
